The brand Riviera was created in 1968 around the same time other brands like Sanyo and Toshiba were created. The founder was Mr. Jack Chester who besides being a visionary was one pioneer in the manufacturing of electronic devices in Japan. In 1972, Venezuela was the first country to have an assembly factory. It was there then where all the materials arrived and where distributed all the merchandise to Latin America. Ecuador was one of the main countries as a buyer. After Mr. Chester’s death, the brand declined a bit due to lack of attention but fortunately in 1998 it was entirely renewed with the lasted technology and a completely reformed line of products. Riviera is now manufactured in factories located in Hong Kong, China. We still keep the UL qualification. The Riviera brand is well known in Latin American countries such as Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, and many countries in Central America.
